Do I need to be on Xero already?+
Valtrail syncs to Xero rather than replacing it, so your accountant keeps working the way they already do. Further accounting providers are on the launch roadmap. Book a demo if you’re not on Xero yet.
Does it handle CIS?+
Yes. CIS labour and materials deductions are computed on subcontractor applications and mapped through to your connected accounts.
What if most of my jobs are small and simple?+
Small jobs get a genuinely fast 3-section quote — Labour, Materials, Prelims — rather than the full cost build-up a bigger job needs.
Can my site team use it without a laptop?+
Yes. The field app runs as a PWA on phone or iPad, works offline, and syncs photos and sign-offs when there’s signal again.
